Colombian Huila Bourbon Reposado (pink)
This is a fantastic one of a kind coffee. Bourbon is a cultivar of Coffea arabica. It is one of the two main cultivars from which many new cultivars are bred, the other being Typica. Both originated in Yemen. Bourbon coffee was first produced in Réunion, which was known as Île Bourbon before 1789.
Unlike most coffee that ripens to a deep red color, Pink Bourbon ripen to a pink color. It’s referred to as a hybridization of Yellow and Orange Bourbon (Bourbon that ripens to yellow or orange respectively), though the tree and flavor tend to have traits akin to Ethiopian varieties. The result is a bright, floral, juicy cup of coffee
This coffee has undergone a 40 hour anerobic fermentation and a ten hour traditional aerobic fermention. Coffee has a full body velvety mouthfeel with fruit notes with a clean finish.
Only offering in 12 ounce whole bean. Message me for any other arrangements for different pack size or grind. Truely a one of a kind gem!
